Ingredients
- 1 large lemon, sliced
- 1 medium piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 8–10 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 cup honey
Instructions
- Wash and slice the lemon and ginger.
- Place the lemon, ginger, garlic, cinnamon stick, and cloves into a clean glass jar.
- Pour honey over the ingredients until completely covered.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for 2–3 days to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Stir before using.
How to Use
- Take 1 teaspoon daily, or
- Mix 1 tablespoon into a cup of warm (not boiling) water or tea.
Storage
- Keep refrigerated and use within 3–4 weeks.
Notes
- Honey should not be given to children under 1 year old.
- If you take blood-thinning medications or have a medical condition, check with your healthcare provider before consuming large amounts of ginger or garlic regularly.
