1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cups (200 g) frozen shredded hash browns, thawed

1 cup (240 g) sour cream
2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
InstructionsPreheat the oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.Cook the beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat, then add the garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.Make the creamy mixture: In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, sour cream, hash browns, 1 cup of mozzarella, and ½ cup of cheddar cheese.Combine: Fold the cooked beef into the creamy mixture and transfer everything to the prepared baking dish.Add the cheese topping: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the casserole.Bake: Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes, until the casserole is bubbling, the potatoes are tender, and the cheese is golden brown.
