Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish) Directions:
Start by mixing the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Take your cut-up steak pieces and put them in a slow cooker, then pour the honey garlic mixture over them. Give everything a good stir so the steak is nicely coated. Let it cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or if you’re short on time, go for high for 2 to 3 hours. You’ll know it’s ready when the steak is tender. If you prefer a thicker sauce, just blend some cornstarch with a bit of water and add it to the slow cooker in the last 30 minutes of cooking. Once it’s done, serve it warm and finish off with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish. Enjoy!
