Ingredients
2 racks of pork ribs
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Grab a bowl and stir together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub this sweet and smoky spice blend generously over both sides of the ribs.
- Lay the ribs, meat side up, on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Cover the ribs tightly with another sheet of foil. Slide them in the oven and let them bake for 2½ to 3 hours, until tender.
- Carefully peel off the foil. Brush the ribs all over with the barbecue sauce mixed with apple cider vinegar.
- Crank the oven up to broil. Pop the ribs back in for 10 to 15 minutes, watching closely so they get deliciously caramelized and sticky but not burnt.
- Let your ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve. Enjoy every messy, finger-licking bite!
