Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
- 1 packet (1 oz) chicken gravy mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix (optional but delicious)
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup sour cream (added at end for extra creaminess)
Optional:
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (for thicker gravy)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Slow Cooker
Place cubed chicken in the slow cooker.
Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together:
- Cream of chicken soup
- Chicken broth
- Gravy mix
- Ranch seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
Pour mixture over chicken.
Cook
- LOW: 6–7 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours
Chicken should reach 165°F internally and be tender.
Finish
Stir in sour cream during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
If you prefer thicker gravy, add cornstarch slurry and cook on HIGH 10–15 minutes.
Serve
Serve hot over:
- Mashed potatoes
- White rice
- Egg noodles
- Biscuits
