Slow Cooker Country-Style Boneless Ribs

Ingredients
3 to 3 1/2 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
1 1/2 to 2 cups barbecue sauce (your favorite store-bought or homemade)
1 packet onion soup mix (about 1 ounce)
Directions
Pat the boneless country-style ribs dry with paper towels. If there are any extra-large pieces, cut them into more even portions so they cook at the same rate.
Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or lightly grease it with a bit of oil for easier cleanup.
In a small bowl, stir together the barbecue sauce and onion soup mix until well combined. This becomes your simple, flavor-packed sauce.

Add a thin layer of the sauce to the bottom of the slow cooker, then nestle the ribs in a single layer as much as possible. It’s okay if they overlap slightly.
Pour the remaining sauce evenly over the ribs, turning them gently with tongs to make sure each piece is coated.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours, until the ribs are very tender and easily pull apart with a fork.
Once done, taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed (you usually won’t need extra salt because of the onion soup mix, but you can add a little black pepper or a splash of vinegar if you like).
Serve the ribs hot with plenty of sauce spooned over the top. If you’d like, you can shred the ribs slightly with two forks right in the slow cooker to make them more “pulled pork” style for piling over mashed potatoes, rice, or buns.
