Ingredients (Quantity)

  • 2 cups ground beef (cooked and seasoned)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup ricotta or cream cheese (for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Chopped parsley or basil for garnish
  • Red chili flakes for a spicy kick

Tips for Success

  • Cook pasta just until al dente to avoid sogginess
  • Drain excess fat from the beef for a cleaner flavor
  • Use a good-quality tomato sauce for richer taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook pasta sheets according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, cook ground beef until browned, then mix in tomato sauce.
  4. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
  5. Place pasta sheets over the sauce, then add more meat mixture.
  6. Roll or layer the pasta with filling and place in the dish.
  7. Top generously with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
