Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak


Ingredients
Patties

1½ lbs ground beef

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

Gravy

1 packet brown gravy mix

1 packet onion soup mix

1½ cups beef broth

8 oz mushrooms, sliced (optional)

Instructions

Make the patties
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
Form into oval patties.

Optional sear (recommended)
Brown patties in a skillet 2–3 minutes per side for extra flavor.

Layer the crockpot
Place mushrooms (if using) in the bottom. Add patties on top.

Mix the gravy
Whisk gravy mix, onion soup mix, and beef broth until smooth.
Pour over patties.

Cook

LOW: 6–7 hours

HIGH: 3–4 hours

Serve
Spoon gravy generously over patties.

Rice or buttered toast
