Pork Chops with a Crunchy Honey Garlic Sauce


Ingredients

4 bone-in or boneless pork chops

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

For the Crunchy Coating

1/2 cup cornstarch or all-purpose flour

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 tsp salt

For the Honey Garlic Sauce

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice

1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

For Frying

Vegetable oil

Instructions

Season pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Mix cornstarch/flour with panko and salt. Coat pork chops evenly.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, lower heat and add honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Return pork chops to the pan and spoon sauce over them until coated and sticky.

Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
