Ingredients
3 apples (peeled, cored, sliced thinly)
3 large eggs
1 cup milk (approx. 1 glass)
2–3 tbsp sugar (optional, for sweetness)
½ tsp cinnamon (optional, for aroma)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for flavor)
Butter for greasing
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven
Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small baking dish with butter.
2️⃣ Prepare apples
Peel, core, and slice apples thinly. Arrange in the greased baking dish.
3️⃣ Mix custard
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla (if using) until smooth.
4️⃣ Pour over apples
Pour the egg-milk mixture evenly over the apple slices.
5️⃣ Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the custard is set and the apples are tender. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
6️⃣ Cool slightly & serve
Let it cool for 5–10 minutes—it will firm up a bit more. Serve warm for the softest, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
