Crockpot Cheesy Mashed Potatoes


Ingredients:

4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (more for topping)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup butter

Method:

Prepare the Potatoes:

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Place them in the bottom of the crockpot.

Add Butter and Sour Cream:

Cut the butter into pieces and scatter them over the potatoes. Add the sour cream.

Cook in the Crockpot:

Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and fully cooked through.

Mash the Potatoes:

Once cooked, use a potato masher to mash the potatoes in the crockpot, mixing in the butter and sour cream. You can add a little milk for creaminess if needed.

Add Cheddar Cheese:

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Top with more cheese if desired.

Serve
