Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1½ cups cooked bacon, chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella (or more cheddar)
2 cups cooked pasta (elbow or shells)
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
Cook the beef
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess grease.
Season
Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix the sauce
In a large bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.
Combine
Add cooked pasta, beef mixture, bacon, and 1½ cups of the cheese. Stir until well combined.
Bake
Transfer to a greased baking dish.
Top with remaining cheese and extra bacon if desired.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serve
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
