This hearty slow cooker casserole combines ground beef, tender potatoes, sautéed onions, and creamy soups, all topped with melted cheddar cheese. Perfect for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
• 1.5 lbs lean ground beef
• 1.5 lbs russet potatoes, thinly sliced
• 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
• 10.5 oz cheddar soup
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• 1 tablespoon garlic powder
• 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
 - Add the sliced onions and cook until soft and translucent.
 - Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks, and brown it with the onions.
 - Grease the inside of your Crock Pot with cooking spray.
 - Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked beef and onions into the Crock Pot, leaving any grease behind.
 - Layer the sliced potatoes over the beef mixture.
 - Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cheddar soup, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
 - Mix everything together until well combined.
 - Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 hours.
 - After 5 hours, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.
 - Cook for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour, until the cheese has melted.
 - Turn off the Crock Pot and let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
