Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups (480ml) heavy cream• 1 cup (240ml) whole milk• ¾ cup (150g) sugar• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (or 1 vanilla bean)• A pinch of saltInstructions (No Ice Cream Maker Needed)In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the sugar dissolves completely. Add the heavy cream and mix well. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover and place in the freezer for about 2 hours.After 2 hours, stir or whisk the mixture to break up any ice crystals. Return to the freezer and repeat this process 2–3 times every 30 minutes until the ice cream is thick and creamy. Freeze completely for at least 6 hours or overnight.Scoop and serve plain or with toppings like chocolate syrup, caramel, or crushed Oreos.Optional (Ice Cream Maker Method):Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually 20–25 minutes, then freeze until firm.
